The Frontier Works Organisation, is a military engineering organization, and one of the major science and technology commands of the Pakistan Army. I was a part of Construction team employed for construction of 448 meters Bridge and Strengthening and improvement of National Highway N5 as a site engineer. My duties included assistance in development of tender documents, liaise with consultants on bridge design issues, manage bridge construction (Piles, footings, piers, transom, post-tension girders, diaphragm, deck, barriers and asphalt works), manage onsite crew on daily tasks and sub contractors, stakeholder consultations, project daily & monthly progress reports, mitigating issues with adjacent land owners and contractors and project costing.
