As a lab technician, I have been trained on the collection off site sampling of our Sludge Sites and Aqua Service Reserve (ASR)Wells.  I currently perform daily data entry analysis on the computer using Excel, PowerPoint, and LIMS, better known as Sample Master. I am able to read technical instructions, procedure manuals, compose routines and forms.  Additionally, I have met and exceeded all language requirements as a Lab Technician. 

  • Collect sample from various on and off site locations such as Lake Gaston, Northwest, Intown Lakes and Manhole for bacteriological testing and chemical analysis
  • Types of samples I collect for daily analyses are EP-1, EP-2, Clear well, Post contractor, Chem Add, Raw and Feed
  • Perform titration analysis on samples collected such as Alkalinity, Total Hardness and Calcium
  • Perform various analyses on samples collected such as Iron, Zinc, Chlorine, pH, Color, UV, Turbidity, and Chlorine Residuals
  • Operate and calibrate Ph meter Oaklon Ph/ 150, DO meter OXI 1970i, Colorimeter, DR-5000, DR/850, Turbidimeter and Burette. Familiar with THM, TOC, Split samples, and HAA Collection
  • Cleaning responsibilities include glassware, Nalgene Plastic sample bottles and crucibles.
  • Ability to run a generator and any other heavy equipment that is needed to perform my daily duties.
