EZPill - NWHacks 2019 (Finalists)

  • Platform to ensure indication adherence for medications and optimize the prescription emission process
  • Web application (for physicians) and a mobile app (for patients)
  • Doctors first create a prescription through the web app including the medication and indications (dosage, quantity, etc). Prescription ID is translated into a QR code which is attached to their physical prescriptions when printed. The patient then scans the QR code and all the prescription data will be automatically loaded to their patient account. Once the patient has signed up, the mobile app acts as a tracking tool as the medicines is taken, but also serves as a tool to quickly reach physicians (at their convenience) to either request a refill or to schedule the next check-up
