Additional Information

     I was born in Japan and coming to New Zealand in 1998 to learn English and over the years of my adult life have been involved in volunteer work both in Japan and New Zealand.

    Experience have included nurse aiding a rest home in Osaka and caring for homeless dogs in an Animal refuge in Hyogo, whilst in New Zealand, helping with Crippled Children's Society in a community group, teacher aiding with the Japanese language at Mountain View High school, both in Timaru and being part of a Mothers Alone Group at the YWCA in Wellington.

    All of these experiences have been invaluable in giving me an understanding of people in need and how I may apply myself to assist them.

    Now I am volunteering at the Red Cross National Office in wellington.

    I really enjoy voluntary work, assisting people, animals and nature where there is a real need and I can apply my skills, seeing a smile on the faces around me and knowing that their respective well being is improving.
