Community Involvement

I have helped with the Mattawa Youth Summer Soccer League (2009-2012) with their: registrations, filing of the league paperwork, so that they would have Non-profit status, held parent meetings, and distributed all parent information; concussion information, rules, etc.


Every year I help out with an annual fund raiser which helps to raise funds for our local church, Our Lady of the Desert Catholic Parish. We set up a booth where we prepare Mexican food, that we sell to those attending the Mexican Independence Day Celebration.


I have volunteered in the school to translate at parent PAC meetings, Translate at Elementary music programs, and volunteered to make calls to registered voters to remind them to vote and about the upcoming levy.
