Microbiology Research Study: Collected/prepared samples, performed the laboratory test to measure antibiotic resistance among Staphylococci isolated from students enrolled in the Microbiology laboratory while following and ensuring safety procedures and cleanliness of lab equipment, instruments, and work area. 
Results determined within 182 of D'Youville College's undergraduate healthcare major students, 16.8% of the students were testified to be the carrier of S. aureus. In just a small sample, several bacteria were demonstrated to have intermediate to clinical-level resistance to commonly prescribed antibiotics, including oxacillin.
