During my tenure at this facility I have done a varied number of positions and have had different titles. From CNA and ward clerk duties on various floors. Telemetry monitor technician in the Intensive Care Unit. My current duties include working in Treadmill and EKG department. Some duties included in the Treadmill department: Lexiscans, Dobutamine Stress Tests, Dobutamine Stress Echocardiograms and Treadmills. Coordinating the test schedule for the different Cardiology groups. Patient preparation and paperwork completion. Getting the patient ready for the Cardiologist, and running the EKG and vital signs during the specific test. Other responsibilities include making sure reports are ran and signed by the MD and that the report is filed correctly in the patients medical record. In addition, I am in charge of ordering all supplies for the Cardiovascular and Ultrasound departments and restocking all treatment rooms in the department. Reviewing all Ultrasound studies and ensuring a report is in the medical record. Trouble shooting missing information with the Cardiologist, Radiologist or in some cases Information Technology to ensure all reports are accounted for and filed. Transferring patients to and from the department as needed to facilitate patient flow, when transport is busy.Float to EKG / Respiratory department. Duties include but are not limited to: performing EKG\'s that are ordered for patients throughout the different units in the hospital. Transferring the EKG to the computer and assuring the MD has signed the EKG. Restocking the various departments in the hospital with respiratory supplies.
