Effectively investigates and determines probable origin and cause of fire, recommends sound corrective action and preventative measures. Assists in the evaluation and compliance with risk management assessment, operational procedures and safety compliance. Coordinates with other section supervisors concerning matters of work accomplishment, priorities and procedures.

President of International Association of Fire Fighters Local 1171. Representing 158 IAFF members. Protect the wages, hours and working conditions of our members by maintaining a collaborative working relationship with our City and Administrative staff.
Special Accomplishments: Successfully negotiated four labor contracts as the lead of the union negotiations team, developed and launched a new website for Local 1171, developed guiding principles document for Executive Board, worked successfully with administration on creative staffing solutions for services provided at Levi Stadium.
