Pulling outside plant fiber and copper cables through underground duct systems by hand and also using a capstan. Review digging permits and mark cables using a cable locator. Conduct site surveys and create cost estimates and technical solutions. Perform regular manhole and handhole preventative maintenance inspections and update butterfly's. Testing and certifying cables using tools such as: OTDR's, Power meters, Multimeters, and Cat-6 testers. Using CVC to plan and survey projects.
