Accomplishments
Having the opportunity to take part in a 2 week management development course after only being a mid level manager for 4 months, the purpose of the course was to develop mid level managers for a possibility to move up to a Senior level position.
Having been in management for almost 3 years, had a great opportunity to open a new store in Maine. After moving to Maine, took part in development classes with  fellow managers. Took part in Interviewing over 500 people in just a few weeks. It was an eye opening experience.

Moved to Maine with an amazing opportunity to open a new store and was able to put all of my experience and knowledge to great use. Being the only manager who has been with the company, was able to guide and train all of the fellow managers on company policies and procedures as well as audit.
 
As mentioned before, took part in the hiring of about 150 team members out of over 500 interviews in just a few weeks. Hand picking strong, divers and talented team members. Using knowledge to help guide our team members during the time of setting up our store and filling our shelves with product. Guiding our team on how to read planograms on where to put product. Became a trainer for the Cardboard Bailer, walk behind/ride on floor scrubber and wave lift. Making sure that each of the team members were trained how to safely use the machinery and fill out any paperwork that is necessary to be able to use each machine. 
 
As bakery manager, hand picked and trained each of the team members and made sure they understood the company standards on how product is to be presented. Trained and guided the team on how to decorate cakes and encouraged them to practice while following all copyright laws. 
 
After Opening the club, had a great opportunity to cover and step in as acting Operations Manager while the current OPS manager was on an LOA. Covered for 6 months and gained even more knowledge on how things are done and why we do them, Learned how to write a schedule for the entire club including managers while using People soft program. As Operations Manager, was in charge of our safety and Operational Audits and to make sure we were compliant. Was also in charge of Asset Protection and our receiving department, gas station an tire bay and sales departments.
 
After having the great experience I went back to bakery for a year to continue to push sales in bakery. With a structure change in the company Bakery Manager became a Supervisor position. So i was moved to an Overnight merchandising Specialist.
