Indiana State Police –
As a Regional Dispatcher for the Indiana State Police my primary duty is facilitating radio traffic between Indiana State Troopers and the dispatch center. I am often tasked with taking both emergent and non- emergent calls from the public and dispatching Troopers for those calls accordingly. While working in the Indianapolis Post I am tasked with dispatching for three different state police districts which totals twenty- three counties in Indiana. While working as a Regional Dispatcher I have fine tuned my skills with multitasking and stress management. I have also learned how to better communicate with both civilian and emergency service personnel effectively.
Specialist/E-4 Military Police,
Indiana Army National Guard –
While serving as a Military Policeman I am tasked with maintaining order among military personnel and enforcing laws on military installations. In the Army National Guard I have received extensive training in detainee operations, law enforcement operations, and civil disturbance/crowd control.
Putnamville Correctional Facility –
As a Correctional Officer with the Indiana Department of Correction I was responsible for the safety and security of the facility, offenders, and the general public. Common duties in my position include: performing shakedowns on every shift, conducting a formal count of offenders several times during shift, ensuring that offenders keep their living quarters neat and clean, and ensuring that offenders make it to meals and programs on time. I am often tasked with overseeing the feeding of offenders in the prisoner dining room.
Montgomery County Sheriff Department –
As a correctional officer for the Montgomery County Jail I was responsible for the general safety and well- being of incarcerated offenders. I was often tasked with conducting armed transport of offenders to: court appearances, doctor appointments, emergency trips to the hospital, and other penal facilities. I was charged with conducting hourly counts and checks on offenders. I was often responsible for passing out mail, medication, and meals. I often served as the shift officer in charge (OIC).
Loss Prevention Associate,
Walmart Supercenter –
As a loss prevention officer, my job was the surveillance, investigation, and apprehension of shoplifters. I was also tasked with the investigation of internal theft by employees of the company. I often had to use CCTV cameras to investigate incidents within the store. I worked alongside local law enforcement while investigating crimes inside the store, and while handing over individuals that I had apprehended. I was also responsible for the safety and security of the store property.
Hoosier Heartland State Bank –
As a teller I was responsible for handling transactions for customers. I was responsible for: cashing checks, making money orders, making cashiers checks, opening/closing accounts, and balancing my teller drawer. I often had to answer phone calls to the bank and handle problems with the outdoor ATM. As a loan collector I was tasked with making collection calls by phone to customers who were delinquent on their loans.
The Fountain Trust Company –
As a teller, I was responsible for: cashing checks, making money orders, making cashiers checks, making deposits, and balancing my teller drawer.
As a crew member I was tasked with running the cash register, preparing food, and operating the drive through.
