I'm a very outdoor-active person! I love spending time at the beach, socialising with people and going on trail walks. I am also very family orientated and dedicate as much time as I can to helping others. In my spare time, I enjoy recreational swimming and rock climbing. One of my biggest passions in life is travelling to different countries as I am always interested in meeting new people, learning about different cultures, trying different foods and enjoying different sceneries.
In January of 2016, I ventured to Vietnam with a charity group called the AWSOM Project, which stands for Australian Water Safety on the Mekong. Myself along with a group of 14 other dedicated swimming instructors went to educate children in the city of My Tho, two hours south of Ho Chi Minh City, about the importance of water safety and drowning prevention. A staggering 32 children drown per day according to Royal Life Saving Australia statistics. It was a great personal achievement to dedicate my time to a cause that is rapidly saving one life at a time.
In July of 2017, I was selected to travel as a national representative to the International Youth Netball World Cup held in Gaborone (Botswana), Africa. Myself, along with my eleven team mates represented our beautiful nation of Samoa. For two weeks, we trained and played against some of the world's best netball players and top ranked teams. This was a great honour to my family and an incredible experience that challenged us all both physically and mentally.
