My job consisted of put-a-way, which is moving it from one location to another. I also worked in material handling making sure everything that was on the sheet was on the pallet before shipping.
In this position I unloaded trucks hourly to meet our expected requirements for the day. In doing so I constantly had to work with pallets as well. In my down town I fixed on Shutez and Mauser cages and followed any other direction from management.
As a forklift operator my day consisted of moving skits with a forklift once the product was done. I always had to make sure I was consistent and fast paced to make sure the process went smoothly. If needed I operated machines to meet company goals.
Most times working in extreme conditions (outside) I had to unload oversized skits off trucks. I also had to load finished products onto trucks with forklifts. When needed I had to repair damaged skits that were in bad condition as well.
Beginning my employement at WISE I began as a machine operator working on many different machines and packed and unpacked boxes as well. Then was promoted to a material handler position where my responsibilities included cleaning hoppers, providing materials to hoppers to make parts and also working closely and directly with warehouse .This job gave me my first experience using a forklift, and strong time management skills.
