September 2011 Hurricane Irene Tannersville.  Tremendous rains caused unprecedented flash flooding in the Catskills.  During this storm an interceptor was damaged in the middle of a stream.

  • Deployed 24/7 for two weeks.
  • In direct charge of 15 man crew deployed to aid in emergency repairs.
  • Coordinated repairs with local agency and contractors.
  • Implemented an interceptor pump around to stop the flow of sewage into a stream to facilitate repairs.
