Summary
After six years of teaching, I had the opportunity to care for my young children at home for several years. I am extremely excited to re-enter the teaching field and I look forward to bringing the skills I gleaned in my years as a teacher, as well as my new experiences, to the classroom. While at home, I never left the teaching field. I worked for an on-line school where I mastered current educational technology and instructional skills. I recently had the opportunity to work as a long-term substitute for 9th grade English students at Charleroi High School where I integrated the dramatic arts into my instruction, particularly during the Romeo and Juliet unit. During my time as a teacher, I produced and directed seven full-length plays and musicals as well as several smaller productions.
