9 students, from Marcus High School, another teacher, and I traveled to Germany where we spent 22 days living with host families in Wolfenbüttel, Germany. I lived with teachers in the area and checked in with American Exchange students regularly.
16 students from Wolfenbüttel, Germany traveled to USA to attend Marcus High School for a month. We organized and facilitated tours and excursions, as well as managed housing arrangements. I am still associated with this program.
Created and implemented 7th and 8th Grade Science Curriculum. Initiated the use of Google Classroom to be implemented and coordinated to have technology policies updated so that it was able to be streamlined across the district. Initiated and coached boys and girls soccer and a book club. Administered the 8th Grade Science STAAR standardized test. Coached Volleyball, Girls and Boys Track, and Girls and Boys Soccer. Administered minor first aid to injured students.
Structured Learning: Observed and assessed student performance, documented progress on learning goals, implemented accommodations and modifications according to IEP and BIPs. Supervised field trips.
