I came to Wentworth Douglas Hospital in February, 2018 as a contracted traveling technologist for 13 weeks.  At the end of those 13 weeks,  I was offered another 13 week extension.  On September 2018, I accepted a permanent position as a overnight staff technologist.

My primary responsibilities include reviewing physician's orders to determine medical imaging needs, prepare and administer contrast material, and operate CT equipment to develop and produce diagnostic images. In addition, educate patients on procedure details, provide instructions and answer questions to minimize anxiety and improve cooperation.  Coordinate with nursing staff to process and direct patients to the CT department. Ensure safety and well-being of patients and staff and provide assistance whenever it was needed. My other responsibilities include, stocking the department in preparation for the day shift, and maintain cleanliness at all times.
