My responsibilities as a Millwright included working a 12 hr shift, days and graveyard shifts maintaining Feeders, Double Boom Bolters, Joy Miners, Jeffery Ram cars, Road Graders, 5 Yard Loaders, Air Compressor systems, Portable power centers, Bobcat equipment, 12470 v, 995 v, 480 v, 220v, And 110 v Electrical systems.
Maintaining the equipment included preventive maintenance on down shift and on production shifts changing parts, troubleshooting problems to electrical systems and diesel equipment, cleaning water exhaust scrubbers and dry scrubber systems, proper lubrication of equipment, Changing oil, fuel, exhaust, hydraulic, intake filters, listen to the equipment for problems during a daily function test of all equipment replacing hydraulic cylinders, steering pins, hydraulic hoses, making hydraulic hoses, splicing cable and cable repair for miners, Bolters, and Feeders. Replacing gearboxes, drive lines, fuel pumps, tires, tram motors, replacing cracked heads on Peterbilt Mercedes and Cummins motors and cleaning equipment for federal inspection to MSHA standards.
My responsibilities as a Frac supervisor included maintaining a safe work environment and implementing a good attitude and motivating others around me directing, communicating and coordinating the crew to insure success in a job well done with long hours.
